This will be my first ever attempt at writing a blog and keeping a fun record of my travels through stories and pictures over the next 8 months while in Australia. We have been planning this trip for over a year now, and as I sit one last time in the kitchen staring at my packed bags in the hallway, I guess it is time to get the show on the road! My mum kept threatening to cancel as I refused to begin packing till about 3pm yesterday. Oops! I had a great deal of help from my good friend Alicia, from uni! Also, last night we all went and enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Purple Cafe in Bellevue. A great time with great company! I am departing Seattle around 3pm today and don't arrive until 9:15am on the 5th in Melbourne. Aww that is a lot of flying! Will write again soon! Must jet. I will miss everyone so so so much!
